I have a pillar pod set for a 3rd gen firebird I was going to try and heat and shape to fit my Chally. I just haven't gotten the interior part of the rebuild yet.  But I did find these for the same purpose. http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/universal-60mm-triple-pillar-pod.aspx?gdftrk=gdfV22417_a_7c1458_a_7c7024_a_7cGS_d_U3_LHD_60&gclid=COfl8PCOhcACFQ5gMgodDnIApQ

I thought about that myself, but the stock type moulding is available from plenty of vendors:  Myself, I m not concerned as changing back to stock is easy day

Id rather have easily visible gauges (digital) than depend on accuracy of the stock analog gauges
