My 70 Challenger makes progress

Darn I was there!!!, but I was at the Gun show that was going on at the same time in the next hall over. If I'd have known you were thre I would have got the 20 dollar ticket for both events.

No problem. It's not really the type of show where you hang out with your car. I think the next one I'll attend is Portland Transmission which is pretty much the kickoff show of the season. I'm sure we'll get together sometime.

The show was pretty fun. I was put into a restored class which didn't really fit what I've done but I got third (of three). My budget isn't really big enough to compete with the top entries though. ...and I'm OK with that. In any case, it was worth doing once. Now I'll drive the car and not worry about getting it dirty on the bottom.

Still have to dial in some issues but it's getting better.

Hey all,

Gearing up for the show season. I have a new (to me), non-1978 intake manifold and AFB carb I'm rebuilding to replace the thermoquad. Hoping to fix my 5mpg issue. Seems like a stuck float might be the cause.

In any case, for the Roadster show in March I put together a show book to illustrate the history of the build. I thought you all might find it interesting. Here's a link to the PDF. It's sort of large (~30MB) so be prepared. There are a number of sites that you can use to put together a photo book. It's a bit nicer than a peel and stick photo album.

Well, I pulled the trigger today and ordered my EFI computer (Megasquirt). I'm following the lead of this guy in is Charger:

Don't know how long it will take me to save the rest of the money and gather the necessary parts, but this will get me started and I can start playing with it on the computer.
