How noticeable is the bezel on that tach once everything is assembled? I'd be tempted to disassemble the tach and just use the innards. That way the extra bezel wouldn't be there. It's probably not a cheap piece to be experimenting with though.

Burdar If you are referring to the redline tach there is no bezel it is designed to fit in that spot.

Good feedback and ideas so far...thats what I am looking for.

I'm still considering a speedo and tach side by side.  Maybe a rallye sized speedo and similar diameter tach...maybe a Sun II tach.  Both black background and oem orange needle color.
 Would it look bad if they were not the exact same diameter?  Or better if they truly matched?

I made a solid wood dash panel (oak or walnut , cant remember,  finished with tung oil )  for the 340 duster I used to have...looked really nice, got alot of compliments.   So maybe something similar on the Challenger.
Just playing with ideas.

The pictures that HP and Brad posted show the bezel. Maybe it's not noticeable with the faceplate installed.
