It wasn't the rain or thunder keeping me up last night so much as the continuous lightning. At one point I was awakened by a louder than normal 'thunk' on my roof, likely a tree limb, but enough to bolt me out of bed to turn the light on
I turned the tv on to check the latest local weather and listened long enough to hear of funnel clouds spotted 10-15 miles north in Autauga county heading due northeast - away from me.
I left for work before light this morning and will check for tree limbs, etc. when I get off in a few hours.
My power did not even flicker but my thoughts are with the folks that had been more seriously affected earlier this weekend--
Thanks for the thoughts everyone
btw, round two this evening
