Road lamp switch (Where does it mount??)
« on: May 16, 2002 - 08:04:10 PM »
Hi, this should be a easy question for you guys, I am installing a road lamp switch in a 71 cuda and would like to know where it should be installed. My owners manual says under the wood grain switch bezel but I don't think so, as there is no place to mount it and drilling holes is not a option. Would appeciate any help,

thanks

The owner's manual is correct. If you car didn't originally come with roadlamps there will not be a hole there, but if you want to mount it the way the factory did, you'll have to drill a hole. If that's not an option, then you can put it wherever you want, but it won't look stock.
