When I have used the jumper both wires are connected the factory wire & the jumper

OK thanks...

I need to buy a new engine harness.  I really don't want to heavily modify an expensive new harness.  So basically, I can run the stock harness and just add the jumper wire.  I could add an extra fusible link to the factory wire if I wanted some extra protection.

Hi, I just have put tuffstuff's 100A 1 wire alternator inside few days ago. Using the original harness. The green and blue cables, which were connected to the old alternator are not used now. So far everything is working including the dash indicator.
