interesting, from the yoke ujoint mounting serface or between the mounts in the cross shaft area?

ill post some pictures soon
Just to be sure, I went off the actual mounting surface of the u-joint. Removed the u-joint and stuck my ipod in there. I couldn't find any conclusive evidence that the other areas were actually parallel to the actual mounting surface.
And for the transmission, when the d-shaft was removed, I went off the end of the o/p shaft.

Im getting close

How much clearance should I want on the transmission end of the tunnel and the drive shaft?

I don't want the drive shaft to hit the tunnel at full suspension compression, it should be minimal on the transmission end but it will need some room.

I don't know how close it can be, but i wouldn't think the tailshaft moves up and down very much. Trans mount would hold it pretty close to not moving?

I have a 1 inch clearance between the drive shaft and the top of my tunnel with the suspension fully compressed.
