saw it last week with the fam, we all liked it. much better than the last one, except Godzilla got fat (getting with the modern times .... lol). to me, it harkens back to the old school Godzilla movies with oversized nemesis and Godzilla being the good guy and leaves room for them to start a new series and bringing back the old monsters (I noticed a 'mothra' display in the kids' fishtank ..... kinda like when noticing certain subtle things in the 1st Iron Man where you could see them setting the scene for future movies and super heroes)
