I have a 73 Challenger. New engine harness.
Working Rebuilt blower motor.
Car has been running and driving for some time now, so I'm interested in testing the AC system.
Looking for some correct guidance here.
I have a shop manual that details the wiring diagram. Only issue I see is a few of my wires do not match up with the diagram..
I'm not perfect by any means, and I'm no electrician.
AC low pressure switch- two dark blue wires- One blue coming from the compressor to the low pressure switch, one going off to...
?
The blower motor- my wire is dark green- (my error) should go to?
On the harness.
My harness is current try connected like so: (don't laugh if it's wrong)
Dark blue wire to the alt
Lt green wire to the alt
Grey wire running to my electric choke.
"Spare" wire connectors:
Brown wire on harness
Dark blue wire ---
According to the diagram:
looks like the dark blue wire should go to the blower motor by proximity alone.
Looks like the brown wire should be hooked to the alternator and the blue wire that is on the alt should go to the low pressure switch.
Thoughts?
