71 Cuda rocker molding clips?

71 Cuda rocker molding clips:  Anyone know the proper clip mounting size and how many I need total?

Sorry, I should have been more specific  (At the time I originally posted, I thought on 71 models there was only the thin mouldling available)

I have the thin moulding:   The pic posted looks like it had mounted the pretty rare, wide moulding available on 71 models  (Grand Coupe option?)

Nope I would say the picture posted was the narrow ones...you can see the out line of where they were :2cents:

Now Im confused.  The outline shown looks much wider than the thin moulding I have.

Now Im confused.  The outline shown looks much wider than the thin moulding I have.

The moulding goes at the TOP of the rocker level with the door opening :2cents: You can see exactly where it was in that photo

It's a 73' but to my knowledge the position was in the same all years from 71' and on.

I was looking at your thread Doc on the A pillar guages.

It appears your car was originally a Gran Coupe?

If that's the case, you'll have to weld up the rocker trim holes.
They sit lower that the river welded on studs.

You'll see in my picture where I welded mine up.
Prior to that, the trim was hiding the holes which was incorrect.
