Start Challenger without dash?
« on: June 09, 2014 - 01:24:20 PM »
I have the dash pulled out of my Challenger, but I need to move the car now. Is there any way to start it without putting the dash back in?

Also, does anyone have a good wiring diagram for a 74 Challenger?

put a jumper wire from the positive battery terminal to the input side of the ballast resistor, crank motor by shorting terminals on the starter relay.

Check and see if the steering column is still in the car first... :smilielol:

I think you need to connect the red & black ammeter wires together

I think the only thing you need is to hook the amp wires together.

Isn't that the only thing you need to do ?
