72 Cuda with 440, 727 and 8 3/4 rear. I think the drive shaft lenght is 43.6". Can someone please confirm this?

You have to reference an earlier year that actually came with a 440
4-lines down 43.6 appears to be the number.

This has bee a PITA for me to figure out. My book has nothing specific for a 340 so I was told to go with a 43.6. This document shows my 340/727 8.75 rear needs 43.79.

I hope not, the one I received with the car is like 42.5 and she won't work.
