radio doesnt work

So it use to work but after sitting for so long the radio won't work. What are some troubleshooting steps to start with ? Its not the original radio.

I know this sounds kind of simple but I would start with fuses.  I had an inline blow a few years ago.   :dunno:

Make sure the antenna is hooked up.

Are you getting any power to the headunit at all?

Check for corrosion on the plugs too.  Especially the fuse box.

the only music I listen to are from the 8 tweeters under the hood and the two sub woofers out back :bigsmile:

Radio was working fine when I parked it 13 years ago. Yes the antenna is connected . I'm leaning towards a fried wire or fuse , I just havnt looked yet. I'm nursing a broken right forearm so I'm limited on what I can do
