Upper Seat Belt Location

Thanks for those pic RUSTY Cuda, unfortunately that is what I don't want to do, the belt tends tends to flap around.
RUSS, I have nqkjw's pic's and he has sent me the engineers drawings, that is what I am hoping to achieve but I am always open to suggestions especially from those who have already done it.   
I wish I was in the Northern Territory, apparently I could leave the lap belts in which would mean I could use the original retractable lap belts that are already in the car.

They can be left as is here in NSW, if it's on Club Rego. If it's full Rego, it has to be changed.

Wow, after seeing the way the stock belts are set up. I may very well try and get away with lap belts only lol.

The only state that I know that somebody has been able to leave the lap belts in is Northern Territory all others demand the lap/sash belts and you cannot leave the American belts in because they don't comply with ADR even though there is nothing wrong with the American belts.

I know in Utah you have to have a car as smog capable as it would've been from the factory at most. Ex: if you are running too high of emissions, but install all the equipment your car would've had from the factory to help with emissions then you are good to go, even if your smog levels are still to high. Unless you're car is a 67 or older, those are smog exempt. I am hoping that it will be similar with safety features for cars......and I can sneak the lap belt by lol.

There was an option code for Mopar Convertibles: C13 Shoulder Belts - Front (Conv. only)

Anybody have pics of how these were mounted?

I think I like nqkjw's idea over on MoparMartket.

You have to put a hole in your trims, but it's a lot cleaner look, and out of the way.

How did you do the rears??

I just ordered my original style 3 point seat belt kit for my 70 Challenger. How do I attach it to the roof? My headliner is really tight in the area for the bolt and I need to poke around in there to find it but what about the front part how does the belt stay up or tuck up there.
There must be some sort of bracket or something right? Any pics would really help too!

You will regret hanging it from the roof. If you are going for concourse then you will have to.
The example that Ken has given is very practicable and won't annoy when driving with the window down.
