Here I have an all numbers matching, original motor, tranny, rear, real "V" Code, broadcast sheet, bumper guards, Drag Pack 3:55 Dana 60, PS cooler, S79 Horn Bar Steering Wheel optioned, Plum Crazy Purple Challenger that I would like to sell. I can't imagine there were many V code S79 cars made. There was around 900 V codes made as it is. Car was re-painted very nicely back in the early 80's (looks very factory). This car still has all the original stainless, glass, vinyl top, trim rings, rims, lights, bezels. Anything that was replaced back in the 80's was only NOS parts.  Engine has been rebuilt and I have added aluminum Stealth 440 Heads, Holley Repro 6 Pack Carbs, and Schumacher Alumi-Coated Headers. I estimate it's around 475 hp, I have the original cast iron heads, rockers, & Exhaust Manifolds, basically any part that came off the car. I do not have the original intake or carbs as they were incorrect when I bought the car. Interior is beautiful all original except the carpet has been replaced. AM/FM Thumb wheel 5 spkr dash Radio w/cassette, 6 Way Driver Seat. The undercarriage has not been painted and there are a few spots in the trunk where the exhaust hangers are that need replacing and I have those original pieces that go with the car for the repair. Have all receipts and paperwork for every dime spent on the car. Upgraded disc brakes in front (have drums & spindles). This car is as good as they get for a 80's painted car with 99.5% original Mopar Parts. I would classify it as a very high quality driver, only 53,000 original miles. I have the factory build sheet and the previous registered CT title to prove the mileage. Included with the car is all the Challenger parts I have accumulated over the last 15 years. Bumpers, torque converters, lenses, pumps, steering boxes, alternator, seatbelts, steering wheels, tires. Everything. Please contact me if you are interested, there is way too much to list in a web page add.

More info and Pics here: http://sites.google.com/site/rt440sixpack/

You will have to look far and wide to find a more original 6 pack car than this. No re-pop restoration, ALL real Mopar parts.
A serious back injury has forced me to sell this car unfortunately.

Asking $50,000.. Will also considers Trades w/cash such as a newer Challengers or Cobra Mustangs, 2001 Mach 1's.

Connecticut Plates on the Challenger and on the cars in the background. He's in Connecticut I've seen it listed on craigslist a few times. It looks nice.

I am in Connecticut in case anyone wants to know the location. I rarely drive the car and have only put around 1,000 miles on it in 7 years. It is quite pampered. Never seen rain or a garden hose. I took it to Carlisle last year and got a ton of positive feedback from Challenger guru's. Every knowledgeable Mopar guy who has looked at this car says I am giving it away at the price I am asking. I know the economy isn't great, but you can buy this car and not have to do anything to it execpt tinker if you are anal. It still has the dash paint, gagues, even the cardboard glove box is still there. The clock even still works. I did replace the tach board with an RTE solid state.  If you want a fully restored car with aftermarket parts this isn't the car for you. If you want a super solid, straight, all Mopar car this is the one. Please feel free to shoot me any questions. The pictures here I took last August, the ones on my site are from 2 years ago. Not much has changed really except the headers and my back injury. The previous owner had this car for along time and never drove it. I'm not that far behind him. It gets a lot of look time.

Greats specs, all original mopar parts on the car, NO repop sheet metal. ALL NUMBER MATCHING, BUILDSHEET, 54,000 MILES, 450HP,  Needs just about..... um..... nothing. Never thought I would see the day when you couldn't give a V code away.

Only thing this motor burns is tires. Can't have more than 1500 miles on the engine since the rebuild.

Super nice car at a decent price for a 440-6 Challenger.  Owned a B-7   6 pk car back in the 70's.  The torque of these engines  is unbelievable!
Good luck with the sale.
