Selling my 71 Hemi Cuda
« on: June 21, 2014 - 03:02:42 PM »
:clueless:  Well I've had a great time w/ my Cuda...Just not taking it out too much these days and into some different toys.  Thought I'd test the markets, I'm not going to dump it, but if I get the right price I'll sell..If interested or know someone that is, I listed it on ebay last night...check it out, happy to get any feedback.  My phone # is on the ebay listing.     Cudaaah

Nice car...http://www.ebay.com/itm/Plymouth-Barracuda-Cuda-Multi-Show-Winning-71-HEMI-Cuda-Tribute-/331239913768?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4d1f6ff928&item=331239913768&pt=US_Cars_Trucks#ht_1445wt_1017 ...too bad you destroyed an original 340 Cuda to build your dream car :'(  Depending on original colour and options it would have certainly sold a lot quicker if restored 100% stock original.

It appears to be a very well built car and worth every penny as far as "cost to build" goes, so I hope Hemi clones can still pull six figures....it would be nice to see. :drunk:

I'm potenially building a very similar 71 Hemicuda clone for a upcoming customer, but I insisted that we start with a 73 318 car.

Let me rephrase..When I bought the car it had a 340, not #'s matching.  I just thought w/ housing back up and stock markets at an all time high, I'd give it a shot. Car markets seemed to have crashed w/ the 08 market crash.  If it doesn't sell, I'm more than happy to keep.

Well I hope my potential customer doesn't see it listed for sale, because other then the colour, it's almost exactly what he wants

Beautiful car ! Similar to my 'Cuda in some ways. Mine was also originally a 340/4 speed. I'll be keeping an eye on this auction....
