I purchased a replacement shift plate because mine had a slight amount of damage. Since I had not been able to find any complaints on the items offered online I figured it would be a dead match but upon receipt it was apparent that my original had a very fine texture imbedded into the plastic surface thats exposed.
Have others found this?
Did this vary within 1970 (like many other things)?
Does anyone make one that matches my original?
