    Happy Halloween everybody!! I'll be at a Haunted House tomorrow night... I've been working on it with a friend of mine for about the past month... it's gonna be great scaring the crap outta the little kiddies!!! ;D ;D Check out the pics of it!!

    Happy Halloween all! Have fun Mike.  Is this at someone's house?  It turned out pretty cool.  We're doing a "trunk or treat" at our church for all the kids.  We sit by our car trunks and hand out candy while the kids go up and down the parking lot getting as much as they can.  It's the "safe alternative".  

    Costumes anyone???  I'm going as a butterfly, my husband's a pirate (bird and all).

    Bird and all!! I love it!! :D :D This is in my friend Steve's basement... we've also turned his garage into a Cemetary.... The best highlight of the whole haunted house is the skeleton that drops down from the ceiling in the last room... took me almost 9 hours to design and rig up!!!! :o ;D ;D

    This might sound dumb but when did Halloween start and why? Also is the whole idea to get Candy etc to eat while you tell scary stories? Cheers, Curious NZ  ??? ;D

    Pegan / celtic holiday thousands of years old to mark the
    last day of harvest and the first day of winter
    The Catholic church does away with the pegan religion
    but keeps the holiday renaming it all saints day or all hallows eve became  Halloween

    The Irish imigrants took it with them to America  in the
    1800's along with bobbing for apples and the strange
    tradition of carving turnips and begging for pennies

    Somehow we turned it into pumpkins and candy
    and I just came back from the trick or treat with my
    kids.  The boy made out well but the girl crashed and
    burned on a street curb (skinned elbow)

    Not a bad night for traditions and family fun!

    Haunted house update!! The "official" count of people that came through the House was 132... not too shabby for a subdivision house!!!! :o ;D ;D Turned out amazing... I didn't get a chance to get pics of the garage... but it was kick ass as well as the basement!! Had several groups (all girls) get stuck trying to leave the chainsaw room... (the last pic) because the door opens into the room and they're scared sh!tless by the chainsaw... hehehe... what a fun time... now to try and top it for next year... might have to follow the lead I have on a warehouse that's being rented out..... ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
