Carlisle 2004
« on: January 06, 2004 - 12:54:38 PM »
:D This is what I have been able to do as far as rooms for the Carlisle show:

I have reservered a block of 10 rooms for July 8,9,10,11, 2004 at the Comfort Inn in Mechanicsburg, Pa. The cost is $86.99 per night (.99 more than last years cost). This is a different location and about 8 mile closer than last year, the motel is located 7 mile N/E of the show grounds on route 11 which goes directly into Carlisle.

When you call to personally reserve your room mention the following: "Jim Walker / Cuda -  Challenger" and the contact person is Lee, although any desk clerk will be able to handle your reservation. You do not have to spend all 4 days and nights and you can make that designation when making the reservation. But I know some of us will be going in a day early and some of you may wish to spend the last night of the show there so as to have a fresh start home.

The telephone # is: 1-717-790-0924  Your reservation MUST be made before June 8 or otherwise any remaining rooms within this block will be made available to the general public.

I also will be making a 2004 window sign to anyone who will be attending this years show (you do not have to be a part of the "caravan"), just send me a 5x7 self addressed elvelope with postage paid to:

Jim Walker
1311 Eastport Ave.
Uhrichsville, Ohio 44683

There will be no fee charged for this window sign other than the envelope and postage.

Lemon Boy will be making the arrangements for the caravan from Chicago, if you want to be a part of this fun trip contact him via private message on this site, and please do this as early as possible as this requires a lot of time in making contact points and time schedules.

Thanks in advance for your participation, sure looking forward to meeting more of my "Mopar buds" this year at Carlisle.  8)

UPDATE : When you call to reserve your room please also use our confirmation number, it is 1761.

Man it's been soooo long since i took a nice long cruise in my own Challenger  8). If anyone else from the southeast is planning on making the drive, i could meet them at a convenient (vanishing)point for the rest of the trip. A long cruise in a Mopar listening to good tunes and meeting some good folks...once in a while life IS good  :D

74Chall,

Jim made some really professional laminated signs to put in the back windows last year.  They had Cuda-Challenger.Com, Carlisle 2002 and other neat Mopar stuff printed on them.  Made it look like we were officials of the show or some such.  ;)

Cheers,

NZ,

I'll try and get a lot more photo's this year.  I took mostly interior and under hood pics to help with planning my resto.  This year, it'll mostly be eye candy  ;D  Emphasis on e-Bod's of course.

Cheers,

The idea of the window sign is to identify you as a site member so as to alert other members of you being at the show, hopefully allowing us to meet each other. Place then either on your dash while parked at the show or put them in you rear window. It also may serve as a means of introducing other E-body owners to Cuda-Challenger.com. Uh, PG...... last years' sign would have been of the vintage 2003 my friend lol. I know it's seems like it has been a long time, but actually only 6 months, lol.
