Wow what a dumb question! ;)

(just kidding)

The center console is the same for 'CUDAs and
Challengers as well as '71 and '72 B-bodies like
Road Runner, GTX, Satelite plus, Charger ect.

Other models and years may have them too.
The main difference is automatic trans vs manual
The top plate on the manual console has a bigger
hole for the shifter.

Just one slight modification from 360Cuda.  Every console from '70-'74 will fit in your '74, but the '71-'74 B and E-bodies would be the "correct" one to get.  ;)

Aren't the 70 Brackets (one of them) slightly different? I've always thought they were  ??? Could be wrong  ;D

Also 71-74 consoles have ash-trays at the back, where-as 70 consoles have a seat belt insert  ;)
Depends what you want? Show, Driver or just a cheap part? Go correct year IMO, There are more of them around on eBay for some reason, you watch now they'll all dissapear.....LOL!  ;D

Is it for a Manual or Auto?  The manuals have a different top plate and bottom section ( has a cut out for the shift boot. )  71-74 have the ash tray in the rear.

The autos aren't too hard to find, the Manuals are a bit harder and a lot more expensive.

Yearone would sell them, all you need is the OM - (Owners Manual) or check out eBay I'm sure they pop up there every once and a while for minimal dollars  ;D

The Walter P. Chrysler Museum sells manuals from the archives. However, they're definitely not cheap. Like was said before, your best bet is either eBay, running a google search for "1974 Cuda Manual Sale" or going to a swap meet such as Carlisle and buying one from a dealer there.

Actually I bought the manual on CD and it cost $120 but covers everything on your car.  Just print the page that you want! It has a breakdown of your whole car.  If it get dirty of torn, just go and print another!

Welcome to the board Kelly!  Sure would love to see pics of your car.  Even if it's a project...that's how most of us started.
