New Cars In Barn Chally
« on: March 04, 2004 - 04:36:51 PM »
Here is a picture of a 70 Challenger 440-6 4-speed rag top.  It's not for sale and they say it never will be.  I've hear it was stolen and has no title.  The floor is totally gone and if you were to pull it out it would probably come out in 2 pieces.  It has it's original engine, trans and rear.  What a shame, people would give almost anything for a car like this.

I don't know... is this worth tracking down? It's in PA, as seen by the car next to it, I might do a title search on that one if I could find out the last letter/number... hey PA guys, is the last digit a letter or number on your plates? Looks like DHF-94?. Maybe a Carlisle side trip if its not too far out of the way. It's not for sale now, but with close to 50 mopar collectors hounding the person, it might be...

Boy, it would be great if this place were somewhere close to Carlisle. It looks like nothing but Mopars in the picture. Unfortunately, that Challenger looks the worst :'(

I saw this car the other night.  It really is a shame.  I know of a '70 Challenger R/T right here in my hometown that's just sitting and rotting away.  A guy from my class tried to pry it from the owner's grip, but even with a hefty amount of money on the table, the guy refused.  He said that he planned on restoring it.  This was at least four years ago already and imagine that, it's still sitting in the same spot rotting away. :'(  Some people need to learn when to sell these cars. ::)

::) If the car has no title and was previously stolen, how can the guy prove ownership? Go to the door, jack the stupid SOB up side the head and take the d*mn car and do it justice, - RESTORE IT !! I'm old he'll never expect why I'm carring a ball bat, lol. CK, get a trailer at Carlisle ( I know you know how to do that ) and the C-C gang will save this baby !  8) 8)

Rev and Chris can take the car down to Reflections and we can all go down and help out with our own club project car,lol !
