onefornow:  i used to run hot in damn NYC traffic, w/ my old brass rad and a weak (and heavy) old elec fan.  i switch to a flex fan, the biggest one i could get, think its 19" or maybe 19 1/2".  never had a problem since, will sit at 190 degrees on a hot day in traffic, and i dont run a fan shroud.

I'm thinking Air Cleaner.  And a set of those retro lookin Accel ignition wires.
