My first 1971 Cuda was Tor-red exterior/black interior, with a 340 3 speed. Galen documented it as one of 118 1971 Cuda 340/3-speeds. I was young, and Cudas were still pretty affordable back then. That was in 1986 - I paid $2500 for it, had 54,000 miles on it, Ralley hood, gilled fenders, etc. AND, for an additional $1000, the guy gave me an original shaker hood, bubble, metal trim ring, base plate, etc, a Hemi 4-speed (18 spline), a pistol grip shifter, a Ralley dash with all wiring (originally it was a standard dash), and a Go-wing (1970 style, but oh well). He even installed the 4-speed for me, too... I ended up putting all this stuff on it, but some punk wrecked into me less than a year later. Sigh, memories.
I'm getting off topic, but the guy who sold me my car had an original 1969 Daytona with a 426 Hemi/4-speed as well. I think he sold it for a little over $100,000, way back in 1989.
