Air Conditioning
« on: June 18, 2002 - 02:36:27 PM »
Any recommendations on and aftermarket AC setup?  I have a 74 Challe that came without AC.  I looked at vintage air.  A local ac shop said they did not recommend vintage air, but preferred a setup from ACME radiator and ac (classic autoware?).  They estimated $2000-2500 installed.

thx

You might mean Classic Auto Air.  I've seen their setup on a lot of cars lately.  I tried looking them up on the web, but it seems they do not have a website. :-\
They advertise in Mopar Muscle Magazine.  I don't have an issue with me so I can't give you their phone #.  I can tell you that they advertise towards the back of each issue though.
