Gotta love how it's "illegal" to spin your tires... ::) in some places I've heard that they'll measure your tread marks for length, then the price of the ticket is based on how long they are... hmmmmm... wonder what the cost would be for a quarter mile burnout.... ::) :o ;D ;D ;D

Yeah 4cruizin... gotta explain this one!!

I got pulled over once and got 8 tickets!  Non of which were moving violations!

Ok 4Cruzin, this begs for an explanation....how in the world did you do that??

Well as a teenager driving a piece of junk, the cops around here just pick the cars apart and give fix-em tickets and I tell you one day I got a bunch!!  The first tickets was for improper plates and no proof of insurance. (sorry couldn't afford stuff like that then) One plate fits all!!  ::)  Then came the loud exhaust (reason for stop)  At this point came the safety check where I got a ticket for bald tires, taillight out, no light on license plate, right turn signal didn't work and last of all things . . . no horn?   The funny thing about that was on the back of the car was a bumper sticker that said "horn broke, watch for finger"   :o    But still no moving violations, at least at that time of my life!   8)

Here's a good one! I still can't believe I got away. I had a black 71 cuda with a 440, solid lifter cam and running pop up pistons, oh around 12-1 compression and this happened in the year is 1976 ( statue of limitations is up). I had a friend with an Olds with a 455 and at night his headlight/parking lights looked a lot like the Dodge Monaco's the cops drive. Well one night I'm at my buddy's gas station adjusting the rockers on the cam. We didn't noticed but two cop cars pulled in across the street behind bushes and were talking. After getting done I pulled the car out and with some cheering from my friends my stupidity grew and I smoked and I mean SMOKED the tires and they were no F70-15's, they were meats... Next thing I know this car comes flying up behind me and I think its Ray in his Olds so I hit the gas hard to red line, bang second, bang third, when the headlights start dropping pretty far back, I looked in the rearview and giggled until a red light on the roof comes on :-[  You ever know that point of no return feeling ??? Well I did and I didn't back off the throttle... A few quick turns and help of knowing the area pretty well got me far enough away to ditch the car and get away on foot, jumping a few fences too. The bad part was I couldn't drive the car for almost three months. The cops knew it was probably me and harassed me for about six months, they did give me a bogas stop sign ticket on my motorcycle that I took to court and they lost... :)

If you powerbrake and stay in one place, some people would actually prefer the 6 inch ($6.00) ticket  :o :P

Just got one about 1 month ago. I was on my way to Alexandria when I stopped at a police check (man, they are everywhere here) They usually have a guy about 1/2 km back with a radar and radios in to the check point ahead with your car make so they know. I was doing 93km/h in a 80.

The thing here in Egypt is that they don't just give you a ticket. They take your actual license away and give you a temp paper. You have to go to the DMV and 'buy' it back. You can do 1 of 3 things:
1 - Be a good citizen and 'buy' your license back (usually big $$)
2 - Bribe the officer (easiest solution, if you have the guts to do so)
3 - If you know a General who can get the card back for you for free.

I have a General friend who was able to get it back for me within 2 days. ;)

You wouldn't believe the things that you can get away with here. I have tons of stories to tell. What a cazy country ::)

Thats damn straight crazy as, guns, sex & rock 'n roll you name it. As the saying goes: "Only in America"  ::) lol!!!  ;D

They usually have guys at either end for Breath testing (don't know if you guys have them) Alcohol tests, incase someone sees the check point and does a U-turn, the cops hiding spring on them and 90% of the time there pissed out-a-there brains!  :D
