Man, that guy is just cruising through this body work!! The car looks awesome, Street.  As far as the vinyl, I think it says a lot about the "kind" of car it is.  If it's going to be mean and bad, then no vinyl.  If it's to look sophisticated but fast, then yes, vinyl.  They have a good point about the black breaking up the color, though.  That's going to be a lot of purple!

MBH, Plum Crazy is a gorgeous color...I love it!  I just think depending on what your trying to make your car look like, it can either detract or enhance.  Either way, you can't go wrong with that color!  If you don't go with the vinyl, I'd definately do a stripe and a spoiler.  That would look really cool!

When I got my Challenger I wasn't expecting to see a Vinyl top on it and I was going to remove it. Luckily I haven't and I'm going to keep it, looks good and if I didn't have it it would look like a Vanishing Point clone, it's not hasn't got the options and I don't want top be like Vanishing point - I'll be my on Kowalski  ;)
Plus it's a nice major option  ;D

It will look great either way, but Im a no vinyl vote.....  put a black out R/T hood stripe on it and a little something on the side and that will break it up....  but of course its ultimately up to you.  Its gonna look great Street!

Looking great Street, but I was in the same boat a few years back when I did my first Challenger, couldn't decide vinyl or no vinyl. It was Rallye Red white vinyl......Well I decided no vinyl and after looking at it since it's been done,  I'm glad I went with NO Vinyl.  But I agree with others that it will look great either way.... :D

Moving right along Street! My thought about the vinyl is that if it will be a daily driver, NO, if you will just be basically driving it in good (dry) weather I think the vinyl would be great. The vinyl takes a lot of extra care and is a potiental big problem area for collecting moisture which will turn into RUST. Any place that has vinyl or trim molding is a place for possible moisture problems, even just washing it, not to mention rain and snow. WSM had vinyl and is a "sunny day only" car and we optied to not put the vinly back, we just liked the clean plain lines of the car. ? ? I said "sunny day only",lol, last year we probably had 3+ hrs of rain in the 6+ hr. drive to Carlisle, but it was nice and sunney when we left home, lol.
