I think PG should enter his RR into the burnout contest

Carlisle has a burnout contest? 12 years of going and I have never seen one...

I've never been to Carlisle, but they have it scheduled for Saturday night at 7pm.

Did anyone check into registering CCC as a car club at Carlisle? Maybe theres a discount admission rate...  ::)

>> Car Club Gatherings
Carlisle is the perfect place to get together for a club gathering. Tents are available free of charge. To qualify you must pre-register and display 25 cars owned by club members. First-, second- and third-place trophies will be presented to the clubs with the highest participation. Contact us for more information.

Must be a recent addition -- When I was younger (9 or 10) the burnout competition was my favorite part of the shows my dad would take me to and I was always disappointed that carlisle didnt have one..

The club registration thing is a good idea if everyone plans on taking an old mopar-- my dad is a member of the Chrysler 300 club and they had a section last year. At the last minute though a few of the members decided
to leave the beasts at home and bring their pickup trucks instead and the turnout ended up being less than expected.

EDITED TO SAY : I've got a line lock and would proudly display 'cuda-challenger.com' in my window if someone has an old set of tires to "lend me" (Damn ebody trunks dont have enough room for a burnout set.)

And who's to say we dont have a club charter? We could type one up in an afternoon -- It would be really cool because then we could all park together at the fairgrounds... if everyone's planning on bringing their cars.

;) NZ I do not race (anymore) and would not consider it with my humble show cars, now when I get the Runner/clone with the 440+6 on the street- BEWARE,lol. goin have a ball. As far as the club participation at Carlsile I don't believe we would qualify being that there is no existing club charter etc., I may be wrong ?

I believe there are TWO that is 2 rooms still remaining in our block, ;D.

;) Well it looks like next year we'll have to try and block out 15 or more rooms, right? If we are all satisiified with the rooms and location it would be wise to take care of that matter before we leave this years show, let me know guys, OK?

Jterp if you want to look into "club" parking we'd all appreciate it. Think about it, we'd all be together at the show grounds and wouldn't have to try and "chase" down each other to say Hi, etc. D*mn good idea! Can you say C-C party at Carlsile?

You guys have been just great, now don't forget to send me the envelope for the free window sign.

Hey guys and girls,

Guess what? You can still get reservations at the Comfort Inn in Mechanicsburg.  I was very sad when I had read that the block of rooms was gone :'(.  Just read the postings today.  So I tried Travelocity.  They are still taking reservations there.  Got mine today!

Is it July yet?

 :D Dawn,
Thanks for the tip. I've been kicking myself because I didn't make reservations yet, and the block of rooms was booked. I made them thru Travelocity today  ;D I found it interesting that AAA gave the Inn 2 stars. This might be an adventure we can all laugh about later.

DTG, we're planning a caravan from the south.  So far we have 4 or 5 planning on joining in somewhere along the way.  We'll probably drive up on Thursday.  You game?
