Bigloves car update
« on: April 21, 2005 - 07:25:38 AM »
Hi guys and gals I havent been around much latley I have been very busy trying to work a deal with a guy on a 70 vert challenger. He called me last night and told me the car was going to be sold today. Which is ok im cool with it. The good thing is that i still have my car. And now i have renewed my passion for it
I shall spend every waking hour working on it -the hours im at work and the hours with the family so that should leave about 30 min a day.he he. I know ive been real wishy washy latley but im all better now. My wife has gone back work full time now so i can start putting a lil money back for parts. Most of you know that i have 4 kids so money is a problem for me lol. I hope to be able to post some updates in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to all my mopar pals for everything yall have done for me. Hope to hear from yall soon.

Chris aka Biglove

p.s. My lil one is 5 months old today such a sweetie she has been a true blessing for me.

Biglove nice to have you back. I know exactly how you feel I have had my Chally since 1985, there have been several times that I have thought about getting rid of it because of conflicts (disagreements with the wife  ;)) with spending money on a "car". Anyway we have worked through some of that because she does not want me on a motorcycle. I am rambling here but point is KEEP the car. I can't image not having mine.

Glad you're back Biglove...you had us wondering.  I'm sorry that deal fell through, but you still have a great car of your own that is deserving some tender loving care.  Even at 30 min. a day, you can get stuff done.  Welcome back, friend.

I was trying to figure out why you had your car on eBay for that short time...A convert would have been nice, but you can still build a great car with your hardtop.  Besides, you can put a built engine with tons of hp in the hardtop and not have to worry about body flex like a convert. would experience.  Glad to hear you're back and best of luck as you continue to progress on the '70 Challenger. :grinyes: :grinyes:

 biglove, hang in there buddy. Sometimes I think these cars may mean too much to us, not that I want to feel what it feels like without one of them, but you mentioned this was the 5th. month anniversary of you little one. And I don't recal another single post who had mentioned this? As much as we may not want to admit it, there is more to life than our beloved Mopars. But yet you have a nice one, maybe not the one you'd like to have, but none the less a nice Mopar. You have a wife who supports you and your dream of building that car. And you have a little 5 month old daughter, why not post a pic of her, count your blessings and then get to work on that car. You do have a lot going for you. I hope this does not sound like some kind of repremand, it's certainly not intended for that! Your young, the car can wait a little, love needs to be cared for daily. Your Mopar friend - WSM.  Lol, you see, maturity and years (sadly more behind than ahead) teach you a few things.

Well, biglove, you are already lightyears ahead of me, Moparwise.  Although, I MIGHT (key word, there) be getting a 67 Coronet Wagon.  Maybe.

Anyway, 4 kids?  All I can say is WOW!!!!  Heh, it won't be long untill your youngest daughter is asking to borrow your Challenger.  Anyway, your ragtop Challenger will come, someday.
