Door handles.

On the drivers and passengers door handle there is obviously the part that you lift up. Is that part the same on the drivers side and on the passenger side?

I'm not sure i understand the question. Door handles are definitely different for driver and passenger side. (and are different for Cudas and Challengers) and they are usually replaced as an assembly. I'm guessing you have one that broke. (common problem) i don't believe the lift part is serviceable, only the whole assembly.

Interior or Exterior?  For exterior handles the actual metal flat piece is the same but each is a different configuration with the lock to the right or left of the handle.  Are you looking to replace your handle?  I believe you have to buy the entire handle setup, not just the metal flat piece you grab on to.

For interior handles you can purchase just the metal handle piece.  Dave at Roseville has both exterior and interior.

I was speaking of the exterior handles just the part that moves when you pull it-the flat rectangular piece.

I was asking because I have 2 passenger ones and a drivers with the flat rectangular piece broken off.

I have not tried to disassemble a door handle before.  My drivers side broke off and I had to order a new one.

They only fit one side or the other. Even if you diamante them,  the tab that engages the mechanism is different side to side. Unless you can weld the pot metal  strong enough to withstand the stress, your best bet is get new ones.
