Window Regulator

I need a late 71 and up e body regulator like the top one in the picture (it has bad teeth where the handle goes). I have a 70 - early 71 regulator which is the bottom one in the picture. If someone wants to trade let me know soon. My next course of action is to cut off the "extra" gear teeth you see sticking out the top of the bottom regulator. It comes up and hits the inside of the inner door skin so I can't use it as is. Looks like I can cut it off and it will work but I kind of hate to chop up what is basically a one year only part.

just so you know the challenger has its own style of regulator the cuda/barracuda have a shorter window crank knob/splined part where ur crank ataches to due to the door panel not sticking out as far as the challenger just wouldn want you to get what you dont need

I have them from a 74 challenger, also with bad teeth.   I don't know if you cut off the extra teeth if you will have full range, opening and closing the window.  I would also consider the one year only as a valuable part to sell. I have a 70 challenger and  I can tell you sometimes I have to settle for non 70 parts.  Maybe if you get a cuda regulator you can change the shorter crank to a challenger crank.    Just my 2 cents

FYI. No one wanted the the 70 regulator so I cut the extra off and it worked perfectly.
