6 pack valve cover breather
« on: July 13, 2014 - 02:06:18 PM »
Im trying to finish up my details on my pro touring 71 6pack cuda.  So i do not need OE concours perfect.  I need something that will work, but if it looks stock, even better.  On the passenger side valve cover, I think I need a breather that has a port to connect to the air cleaner for sure.  Do I need a port that connects to the passenger side center carb vac. port or can I just cap the carb port?  On the drivers side, can I run a PVC into a rubber grommet and connect it to the vac. port at the back of the intake manifold?  I do not have a vac. assist brake booster as I have a hydroboost brake system.  Is there such thing as a 2 port breather if I need to connect the air cleaner and the carb on the passenger side?  What would the third port of the breather be for on the stock set up?  Thanks for any help and suggestions you guys have.   J

72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"
