It`s better to measure to a point on the frame rail as the fenders are bolted on and can be adjusted up/down. There are specs somewhere for it.

The factory measurements are taken from the ground to point a) the bottom of the torsion bar socket where it goes through the control arm, and b) the bottom of the lower ball joint.  Formula is measurement a - measurement b =1 1/8". You keep changing your ride height until your variables equal the  1 1/8 distance

I understand how this raises the front of the car but how does it raise the rear?

Just making sure the front is level so you know the problem is in the back. Did you take the shocks out?

The assembly tolerances on these were so loose that things could be off quite a bit from the factory. Its possible everything is exactly where it should be, you  just have tolerance stack up that makes it worse than it appears.

You want to adjust the driver's side torsion bar to offset the height on the passenger side rear.

Think of it as a diagonal teeter totter to understand how changing the front effects the rear.

The shocks are still on but the air lines are off so there's no air in them.

Sure one is not stuck? I`d remove them completely just to rule them out.

Good info! Always wondered how to set these. Does it have a lot of effect on your wheel alignment if you do adjustments?

OK , I had a little time tonight. I measured both sides up front from the edge of the fender to the top lip of the rims. The passenger side was an inch and a half higher. I have no idea how i never noticed it. The rear is very noticeable but i never seen the front. I looked at the tortion bar adjustment bolts and they looked like they were dead even in terms of adjustment. I jacked up the front passenger side as the drivers rear is sagging and since the driver side being lower never rubbed I turned the adjustment bolt out two full turns at a time then lowered the car and bounced it up and down several times and remeasured. I ended up doing this six times, turning the adjustment bolt out twelve times until both sides measured the same and bingo the rear end sits even. So I guessnow iI'm wondering why the front end is adjusted so different side to side. I'm imaging the tortion bars are weak and need replaced?

Take it for a drive an re measure  ;)  Then get a front end alignment

Yea mine was a little outta whack what I first got it also. Adjusting the torsion bars took care of mine. Hope that does it for yours. I agree with the others, get rid of those air shocks! Good luck

Mine too, its 1" lower on the driver side rear, got those horrible airshocks also. I just assumed it was worn out leaf springs. Got a new Firmfeel stage 3 kit in the garage though, all new springs and shocks.

It has a large effect. You really need to set up the ride height where you want it b4 you get an alignment.
