Doors are sagging. How hard to re-bush door hinges on 70 challenger?  What tools are needed?

I bought kits for my last Challenger, sold the car before I could get to it though, but it looked pretty easy, just drill out the holes in the right size, get the bushings in there.

Yes.  I did one door.  I will probably do the other when I pull it off soon.  Not that hard.  Once you drill the pin holes out, you need to press the new bushings in.  You can do it in your vice.  When you squeeze them in, you will then need to ream the bushing to fit the pin.  Mine came out nice and tight.

I just did them on my 74. Drilled new holes and tapped the bushings in with a hammer. No grinding, pressing or reaming.

I am just about to tackle my driver door, as it has sag in it to the point where it does not close nicely at all and seems to get caught up on the sill plate (which also needs to be replaced).

What sort of "drilling" is involved in doing this? I purchased a reproduction door hinge repair kit from my local auto parts store which contains three pins of different sizes as well as six bushings. Thats two bushings per pin of respective size. Where does the drilling come in? Forgive my ignorance.

Cheers,
Robin

Why not just get door hinge pins?
