shift kit or valve body Pros/Cons?

I was considering a trans go tf2 shift kit but saw what was all involved on install and now also considering the turbo action forward valvebody with low band apply.not worried about installing the shift kit just the amount of time it will probably take me.  would like to hear the pros/cons of both from the people in the know before I decide,Thanks Much!

I just installed the TF2 kit, takes no time or effort, easy to do, good instructions, all hardware and drill bits supplied, only need basic tools and a cordless drill as a minimum.

That's an awesome write-up. Would love to find something like that for putting a kit in a 518.

It does look time consuming though, wonder how "critical" some of the steps/dimensions are?  Not everyone has access to drill presses and lathes.
It would be hand tools only for me.

If you're not comfortable installing the TF2 kit, then buying an aftermarket valve body would be a good alternative. You'll still have to install a heavy rear servo spring/retainer and probably install an orifice plug in the direct clutch feed port. The new valve body should come with instructions on how to do this. I have no experience with Turbo Action, but I have used Cope Racing's valve bodies and they are excellent. Cope also has excellent customer service.
