Just Installed my 5115s
« on: July 21, 2014 - 03:18:50 PM »
Just installed Hooker 5115s on my 340 Cuda; I removed the starter. oil filter and drag link. Jacked up car about 2 feet or so. Passenger one fell on without problem; Driver's side needed to be wiggled around the steering box, which was easy. All bolts fell into place. I know everyone likes TTIs and Dougs but this is all I can afford and they were simple to install.  Off to get some good thread sealant for the 4 outside bolts. Nice weather here; 86 today. High humidity. End of report until I fire it up.
1963 Dodge M37 (3)
1967 Dodge WM300 (2)
1971 Plymouth Duster
Bought new in '71; I wanted the Challenger but they were $2850; too much $ so I got the 318, 3 speed on the floor, Twister Duster for $2100.
1973 Plymouth Barracuda
I ain't done yet.

Do the TTI's go in just as easy?  I've heard they do.  Just wondering?

I have TTI on my SB and they went in very well.  High recommend, you just have to pay for them
