So I just discovered this forum as I don't spend much time on the computer. Just wanted to share my story with other cuda and challenger owners. Forgive me but I was born a chevy man. It's all I knew when I was young. Then one day I started a new job and discovered a 1971 demon and a 71 cuda. Ok, so now I love my mopars. About 18 years ago came across a 70 challenger for sale. It needed everything. However, it was plum crazy, 440-6 pack, pistol grip, Dana rear, trac PAC, and everything I wanted. Bought it and the owner has a 69 sc rambler so I worked that into the deal also. I have been sitting on this car for so many years trying to find the right person to restore it the way it should be. It had been sitting since 1975 or so. Never fooled around with. Then one day a friend told me about a new show, graveyard carz. Sent them an email and next thing you know I find myself talking to mark Worman.  The car was featured in the intro of season 3. Holly was leaning against my car and they also used my car in the intro when it goes from a wreck to a fully restored car. It was disassembled on an episode on season 3 but will be on season 4 coming soon. The car is seen on their Facebook page often. The only thing about the car I'm not sure about is a white vinyl top. I prefer black but it seems most plum crazy cars out the with vinyl tops have black ones. Maybe it will be nice. Mark said if I really want they could put a black top on as it's an easy change. Any thoughts. Well, I'm glad I found this forum and look forward to input from members along my journey.

Nice car and looking forward to seeing it on TV. IMHO, if everything else about the car is original then keep it that way. Otherwise do whatever trips your trigger.  :D

What I really want to know is if Mark is as big of an idiot towards his crew as he appears on TV.   I record then zip through his rants, but I really like his opinions and comments about the cars themselves.

They all really do bust each other's chops but then they will all be out having breakfast together on Saturdays. You might have noticed there was less on season 3 and season 4 is really focusing on the restorations. When I'm at my shop with my friends we do the same thing. It's just not recorded and edited for tv. That changes a lot!!

I've only seen one short clip of the show that was posted on here some time ago. That Mark guy came off as a complete jerk to his employees. I have no idea how people could continue working for him :dunno:

I've since seen pictures of their work which in my opinion was a complete joke. :2cents:

I hope your car turns out to be everything you dream of, and that you are truely happy with their work. :worshippy

As for the vinyl top.....leave the car original. :2cents:

This car is "tri-coloured" purple, white top, black interior....I think it looks nice. I guess it depends on if you have stripes. :dunno:

So as I said I'm a bit computer illiterate. My iPad is my main tool. Trying to post pics but it says file is too large. Can I send pics to someone for posting? I can email them very easily. Thanks for all the comments.

Welcome from CO!  I actually like the show and am glad they are focusing more on the restorations.  They have some cool cars and it looks like yours will be one of them!
