 Welcome from Fl. I've watched the show to and really got tired of the childishness, was more interested in the information and technical aspects. Anyway I was wondering if you could share with us their pricing structure. Not asking what you paid, none of my business. More a general idea of labor rates, mark up on parts, etc. And were you happy with the quality when completed. Hope to see some pics soon.

I have no idea what type of deals mark gets or what his labor rates are. Can't say anything about the car yet as it's just a shell right now.

I didn't say I didn't know what it was going to cost. He also said he was not asking what I was paying. He asked about parts markup, labor rates and other things I have no idea of.

I didn't mean to sound disrespectful, but usually when I restore a car for someone, they usually know how much per hour I charge as well as any parts mark-up or out-sourced labour mark-up :2cents:

I guess if they just throw a total number at you for a finished product, and you're okay with that number, then you really don't need to care about the details... of how they got there :2thumbs:

That's a good question.  Did he just give you an out the door price, and that's what you owe?

Really like your car! I think it looks great now, showing its age. Looking forward to see it on Graveyard Carz, I like the show, drama or not, I watch the cars, not often there is Mopars on TV.

FWIW There's a guy here in town having his car done by GYC, he too won't talk about how much, said he was required to sign a document stating he wouldn't discuss the financial side of his resto with anyone.... Odd....

Thanks everyone. No problem with the questions. I think as I was one of the first people to contact mark I was just given an out the door price. Now that the show is much more popular and he receives so many requests for restorations I hear the way he quotes car owners is much different then what I got. Some people only want body work done etc. I always thought of getting the car running and leaving the body the way it was. I brought it to a few shows on a trailer and it got a lot of attention. Thanks again for the input. I'll keep everyone posted. Do I keep updating on the newbie section?

Let's start speculating....  :money:   Let's say that if a nut and bolt restoration is more than buying a restored example and a restored example sells for 40-50K, then Mr Worman is doing very well indeed.......  And I say

Graveyard carz just posted about 8 pictures of the car in booth getting primed. It's on their Facebook page. I started a photobucket page. Trying to figure out so hopefully I will post some pics soon.
