Floor shift linkage
« on: July 22, 2014 - 12:56:06 PM »
Well guys looks like I painted myself into another corner. How easy is it to un hook the slapstick shift linkage from the trans. I need to lower my trans and pull it back a couple of inches. I need to likt the motor up enough to get a small angle grinder to gain a liitle room for my new oilpan on the k-frame. My Milodon B-R/B roadrace oil pan hits on both drivers and pass side.
PS it's a 70 Chally with bigblock/727 auto with slapstick floor shilter.

The linkage is not hard to remove even with headers
