I'll try and post a better pic of the instrument panel when I get it put in. Going to start tracing out all the disconnected wires tomorrow. Have to find a heater control valve too. Internet here I come!

One pic shows a standard cluster, then another pic shows a Rallye cluster bezel. Did you get two clusters with the car?

I think it's just the angle of the pic your looking at. I'll post a new one today.

Wow! Those heater control valves are expensive! Guess I'll try and free mine up.

Ha! The cluster sitting on the seat without the speedo visible looked like a rallye cluster to me  :dupe:

It sure does look like WSS Challengers came with Gran Coupe clusters to me  Hope some more owners of WSS Challengers like you guys and other guys chime in and can confirm this to be right, it is just an observation i have made myself over the years.

Trying to decide whether to work on my car this weekend or go to the Mopar Nationals in Columbus. Having never been to any of the shows is it worth a 3 hour trip? My new carpet is due in Friday. Still haven't heard anything from Legendary Interiors other than they received my order.

That is the correct dash bezel for a WSS Challenger.  Pretty cool...you rarely ever see them.

Got some of the Dash assembled. Have to remove the AAA sticker. Will try a little Goo Gone first. Worst case have to get new wood grain. Glad I have small hands. It seems with these projects that one task leads to 2 more. After attaching the heater valve cable I found it wouldn't move. An hour of troubleshooting later found that the valve was frozen. I'll try and save the valve as new ones are pretty expensive. Going to try soaking it overnight in PB Blaster. Fingers crossed.

That looks really nice!    :woohoo:

If Goo Gone doesn't work you can try 3M adhesive remover, that stuff is really good.

Putting the interior together would be a whole lot easier if I had been the one to take it apart. So far it's been put three pieces on, take them back off so you can put on the piece that you forgot. Or to hook up that  connector that you cant reach. I was hoping to have enough done to take it down to the Woodward cruise but it looks like I've come up short!

I'm pretty sure that extra strip of metal is from an inspector.  Probably a quality control thing for the "body in white".  I've also seen punched letters in the tag itself.

Don't worry about getting it done for some deadline.  It's more important to get it together correctly.
