Got my seat covers in today.  :ylsuper: :bananasmi :jumping:

They said 4 to 6 weeks because of a custom order.
It only took 2 1/2 weeks. I love it when orders arrive early.  :2thumbs:

I have decided to take to them to a reputable upholstery shop to have them done along with the convertible top which should be in next week.
To pay $150 to have each seat done ($450 total) outweighed me trying to do them and possibly screw them up.
So hopefully soon they will be done.

I'll post pics when they are done.

$150 per seat sounds high.  It might depend on what part of the country you are in though.  It cost me half that.  Have you looked around at other places?

That's pretty good Alan.
I called another place today. If I provide the frames, foam and covers (same as the other place) they said it would cost me $750 for all the seats.  :screwy:
I must have called a California number by mistake.  :smilielol: :roflsmiley:

That sounds about right.

The Leather seat bottoms are hard to get lined up higher so the edge ribbing sits up high.
Make sure to discuss this with your installer. And don't have him hog ring it all down until you can inspect it.

If he's done these Legendary leather's before, then he'll know what it takes and then you'll be O.K.

He might. His store has been in Midwest City for 29 years. Gotta be something to being in business for that long. Maybe a little experience.
I found this guy thru the local Mopar club and several recommended him. I gotta believe he might know what he's doin.
But if he owns a house in Nickols Hills, then he for sure knows what he's doin.  :smilielol:

Wow you guys are getting way low prices. Although I did have mine sent out for strip down and powder coat but still.

If you live in an area with any wealth around be prepared to pay higher prices.

$150 per seat sounds high.  It might depend on what part of the country you are in though.  It cost me half that.  Have you looked around at other places?

What was expensive for me was getting the seat frames sand blasted.
It was too much tedious work for me to do with the limited blasting equipment I had.

I think I paid like $300 or more to get them clean.
Then epoxy coated and paint and there's another Franklin.

Mike,
Luckily the seat frames that came with the car are blasted and painted so I'm good there.
The one thing I am missing is the wire rods to hold down the contours for the center of the seats.
I think I saw where someone fabricated some for their seats. I need to find that.
