    71 cuda tail light chrome

    Sorry for all the questions lately but I'm finally getting my cuda back from the shop si it's time to start work again. I was looking at my taillights and the chrome piece that goes around the plastic housing seems to have some matte Black finish on it? Are these suppose to have paint or just polished chrome? If they are not suppose to have paint what's the best way to get it off without damaging the chrome?

    They are supposed to be black with chrome showing only on the tops of each rib and around each light. :2cents:

    Im no mopar judge but my car has a light flat black color which seems to closely resemble the organisol type black.
    There are some good paint experts in here who should chime in soon.

    Ok i had my taillights surrounds painted that colour so I'll get the chrome pieces painted the same. It will be just a little different than the tail panel
