Dutch, yes they did. nothing positive. I have had a good friend suggest I at least run a shim under the steering box to rotate it a little to start with that way the new input shaft master spline will only be one or two splines away from the orignal rather than six or seven for example.

Ok, final update,

I shimmed the left hand steering box bolt with about a 0.100" washer that I ground to have a taper on it so as not to stress the box mount lug too much. then re cut a new master spline on the Input shaft which now has three splines seperating the old from the new master spline. The tie rod ends are equal now.

We had some steering linkage issues and shimmed the steering box. Believe this picture came from factory or dealer info.
I posted that picture. ( I recognize the oil stains! LOL) It's from a Mopar performance chassis book.
Glad you got it sorted out!  :2thumbs:  You should have had to go though all that though.  :pullinghair:

Glad you got t sorted out.

I think I am just going to go back to the factory pitman arm.  Not sure I like the idea of cutting a new master spline on the box.

Thanks guys,

Jas, it's pissed me off a little that they can seem to clock them right as such, I would have much prefered to not re cut etc, I guess bottom line is, I can always go back to original by taking out the shim and selecting the old master spline should I not like it or I actually find a correctly clocked arm one day, maybe try it, no harm.
