I was wondering.....
« on: April 24, 2005 - 12:34:03 AM »
Has anyone made a 66-67 Charger Wagon?  I see Roadrunner and Superbee Wagons, but, why no Charger Wagons?  For that matter, has anyone ever made a 70 Satellite wagon into a Superbird Wagon?

Not this week. ;D

Actually yes, there was a local (Utah) guy about 2 months ago who had his Charger "wagon" project on eGouge...didn't notice if it ever sold.
Not only was there a 1st gen Charger front end on it, but he even swapped the rear seats for Charger seats in an effort to make it the 'car that wasn't a car' out of it.
I'm sure there have been more.

Let your perspective wagon purchase be a wagon...with some cool rims & tires, of course. ;D

Well, if I get it, I'd rather have the Charger grill.  It looks cleaner, and I love hidden headlights.

I freind of mine took a `69 Belvedere wagon and made it into a Nomad type two door wagon. He removed the two back doors, replaced the fronts with ones from a two door Satelite and grafted in the front section of the Sattelite quarters.Came out real nice, sorry no pics.

I made an 18 wheeler out of a hemi superbird once.  I wanted to make sure to use a car with no real value for a retarded cut-up project.

 The closest thing to a Charger wagon that I've seen is the one D/C is about to put on the market for people who don't know what a Charger really is!  :nono:

:dontknow: Depends what your using them for, other than hauling people and things and a "different" drag car they are not what you'd call a popular ride. But I've seen some beauts, even one with a hemi that was drove on the street and was a show quality resto. It's what you like and want, but man I sure hope NO ONE chops up a Charger to make a stationwagon, surely they can find a "patient" that just needs reviving !

I was talking more of replacing the Coronet grill with a Charger grill, and some interior work.  I've decided against that, after seeing some pics of some really beautiful Coronet Wagons.
