My first Junk Yard e body
« on: August 09, 2014 - 10:58:45 AM »
So, I have visited hundreds of junk yards over the years to never find any e bodies for the pickings.
A few days ago I had to go visit family and saw this new scrap yard opened up. Figured I would stop in and say hi.
They tell me they have a 74 cuda back in the yard.

I go in and this is what I see.

As I get closer I realize it is a challenger

It's pretty beat, but there are some metal parts left on the car.

He said he'd sell it to me for 800.
I only need the passengers door pillar and a part off of the roof.
And a few other little metal parts.

I don't want to pay 800 and cut the parts I need and leave the rest and I don't want to pay 800 and take it home.

Would anyone out there be interested in any large parts of this car.  Maybe someone here in Colorado would want to go in together and cut parts off of it also.

The number looks weird. It should be 4B not B4. Also that sequential number is 10475 before mine and mine was a very early 74. The original owner took possesion on Oct 13, 73.
In search of the eternal buzz!

So this was a very early 74?

Sucks there is no fender tag or vin tag.

There was no cuda.  They just simply did not know what they have.

I have never seen so many mopars wild r/t.  That's amazing.

Wow I’m really surprised that car hasn’t been picked already.
There just seems to be so many people in Colorado doing home restorations surely someone needs that body. I’ve seen Challengers on Craigslist here that were in absolute junk condition for 6k to 10k.
