That might be true, but Legendary is fully aware of their marketing strategy; that their distributors buy their products and re-sell them; but Legendary certainly is not losing money on them either.
That does not negate the fact that the warranty is from the manufacturer (in this case, Legendary). Period. Legendary made it and their warranty says they will fix it or replace it, at their discretion. Which is all I wanted them to do and which they are doing. It just took more drama and bureaucracy than I am accustomed to. Classic was perfectly willing to, and did, help in the process, but in the final analysis, Legendary is the one who needed to act. And ultimately, did. Supposed to be shipped back to me today. Quality work takes time, they said.
