I remember when, at first, you wanted to make a nice driver out of the 'cuda and resto was not an option. Now i see both an excellent driver and a nicely restored car. Very nice. Kudos

That was the evolution of the project.  Otherwise known as the "snowball effect".  :eek4:   First it was get it running.  Well I might as well paint the engine compartment first.  Well it needs a dash pad so we might as well paint the interior compartment.  Okay since we will have all that out for paint we might as well get a rotisserie and paint the bottom.....oh heck just do it all!  :pullinghair:    To most here on the forum it probably is not a "show" car.  The inspection marks are not 100% correct to most peoples standards.   The gaps have not all been filled and measured to be exact all the way around.   Just more of a local show, cruise, car get together type of restoration.  More like what the car would have been like a year or two after it left the dealer lot.  I would love to bolt on some Cragar S/S's with Polyglas tires to give it the day 2 look.  However I don't like the uni lug wheel so I am going to leave the Magnum 500's on there for now.

My daily.  '71 /6 auto, bone stock as it was drug out of a backyard after sitting for 30 years.  I put about 150 miles a week on it and get about 17 mpg.

6 cyl Challengers and Barracudas are becoming rare.
Like your car.

I had a 1970 /6 Challenger SE.  I regret getting rid of that car, it was a keeper.
