I can't take credit for the work.  It is is being done by a "one man" shop in a small town around here.  We (my brothers, my dad and myself) disassembled the car and then found this guys shop.  He was going to do the paint and body and I decided to let him finish the car.  It was the best choice I could have made.  It is no "show car" but it is way way better than anything I could have done.  Not to mention I would have worn out my welcome around here asking even more questions than I already ask.  :smilielol:

The car is a 318 BS23 car.  I decided I wanted it look like the 318 2bbl.  So we went back with a 360 painted it blue like the 318 would have been.  Then on the air cleaner we decided to paint it gloss black like the 318 2bbl air cleaner would have been.  Again, not 100% show car correct but along the lines of what it would have been.

Looking nice ! It doesn't have to be 100% OE correct. It is your car and you'll be driving it. The yellow exterior - white interior is very nice

Where did you buy your 3 point belts?   I have separate shoulder and lap belts which need to be replaced.   I'd like something with both shoulder and lap on a retractor so I don't feel like I'm strapped in a straight jacket.

Just throwing this out there for others that may be interested.  For my 74 year Challenger  (Barracuda I also assume) the shoulder and lap belts are integral. Cannot beat the convenience.

Real nice work you are showing there. Going to be a fun ride.

So not to convolute your thread I started another in this same board with pictures of the factory 74 integral seat belts.

Just starting to tear down my 70 A66 Challenger convert, after last being on the road in 1984. I was planning to repair what is needed and get it back on the road.  I'll see how things progress.

The carpet is probably cut to short.  That is my luck!  :banghead:  Anyway, the project is just about done.  Just trying to trace down where the NOX valve lines run from the firewall to....  :dunno:  Also still have to figure out the charcoal canister line routing and the A/C wiring.  Exhaust will be here later this week and then decide which Magnaflows to install?  He is getting close to done!!

Small world, I see you're from parsippany. One of my co-workers showed me a picture of your car in the driveway a few months back when he first saw it outside. He has a 65 mustang, lives right around the corner from you.

I'm in Roxbury, let me know when you have it up and running we can cruise  :burnout:

I remember when, at first, you wanted to make a nice driver out of the 'cuda and resto was not an option. Now i see both an excellent driver and a nicely restored car. Very nice. Kudos
