Ok....so I picked up a used coupler for my power steering swap.
It is the early style with out the small pin at the top of the coupler.
My understanding is that this pin was used to retain the shoes in the coupler.
Is the early style ok to use, are the dangerous.
Would it be worth it to drill the proper size hole and use the pin?
I just want to get this done and get the car back on the road!!!
