Even if you are like me -- on a Road Trip to Alaska -- you must have heard of the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS craze that his taken over the social (and mainstream) media.
When there is so much negative stuff out there on the news....... It seems fantastic that a simple act has raised basic awareness about this little-known disease (commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) as well as some much needed $$ for research and assistance to some of the 30,000 people who contract (and die) each year from this nervous system monster.
I lost Becky, my bride of 40 years and my best friend, to ALS 19 months ago today.
