Looking at the pic, I have the part circled. I've looked and haven't found any.
Does anyone know where I might find them?
Even used ones would be better than nothing.
Or are these supplied at upholstery shops?

thanks,
Tom

They are part of the convertible top and as such, would be supplied by whoever installs your top.

They aren't an E-body specific item.  My Dart uses them and I've been them on B-bodies.  I only have one of mine.  I was told that they come with a new top.  Not positive on that though.

Thanks for the info burdar,
If they come with the new top, I didn't see them in the order I got in from Year One. Got the strip but didn't see the tips.
Thanks again,
tom

I notice you have the snaps on the chrome trim around the top, for the top boot cover. My Challenger has that also, was wondering if that was an original option or if it' is added later... Have not seen that on many cars, my last 2 convertibles did not have it.

Mine is a 1970. Noticing now that I don't have as many as Tom's 71 Cuda.

The pictures I'm seeing on Google don't show the snaps.  I saw a 71 Cuda a few weeks ago that didn't have the snaps.  I wonder if the snaps were added later when the top was replaced.  Maybe the original top boot was replaced and the only style available was with the snaps?  My neighbor has a 72? Cutlass convert.  His doesn't have snaps.  The top boot has a plastic piece sewn into it.  The plastic slides under the trim at the back to hold it in place.

My Dart has the snaps but it has a lot of them.  Way more than the picture above.

NO E Body convertible ever left the factory with snaps for the convertible boot cover. Any E Bodies that you have seen with snaps have been added at some point in it's life. Pretty common actually. :2cents:

Hey guys,

I am so sorry for the confusion.
The pic I provided was another cuda I found online. My cuda does not have the snaps. It doesn't have the top on yet either. Sorry about that.
But since it is brought up, I've learned a little more from you all.  :2thumbs:

I was told that they come with a new top.

And burdar, you are correct and I stand corrected. I took another look at all that came in the box and I did find the chrome parts.

So, sorry for the mistake of not seeing them the first go-around.
Ola, I appreciate you offering the ones you had. But after opening my eyes just little more  :banghead:, I found them.

Thanks again guys.  :2thumbs:
